- AZ stRUT – They take old computer equipment – hard drives, monitors,etc- and refurbish them for kids to use.
Iowa
- Children and Family Urban Ministries – They have a whole list of items they are looking for like white copy paper and art supplies.
New York
- Materials for the Arts and their blog – they take chairs, comps, office supplies, craft supplies, household items, paper/posterboard, video equipment, wallpaper, miscellaneous supplies.
- ReTech Kids – will take anything you can make art out of.
- The Pencil Box – donate computers, furniture, arts and craft supplies, etc.
- PENCIL + VEI – donate business attire that students can rent out to go to professional occasions.
- FineStar – instead of throwing old printers, computers, toner cartridges, etc in the trash you can give them to this company. Not a charity but at least they recycle and reuse.
- Tools 4 Schools – office supplies, etc.
Rhode Island
- Mali Health Organizing Project – takes office equipment, supplies + medical supplies and equipment.
Utah
- Children’s Service Society – They take craft supplies/school supplies.
- IRC – They do a back to school donation drive.
- Help Cape Verde – Donate school supplies to the poorest kids. I like this approach because they are trying hard to not run the local stores out of business by giving free supplies to everyone.
Canada
- Tools for Schools – donate backpacks full of school supplies for kids K-12.

- Adopt a classroom – buy them lots of stuff!
