Since kindergarten we have been using Avery sheet protectors to keep special papers, notebook sized artwork, special writing assignments and awards for my daughter who will now be entering 5th grade. Also at her school every year each student has to make a 8.5×11 collage of important events that have occurred in their lives during the school year and that stays at school until they complete 5th grade than they get to bring it home, that will also be added to her binder of memories which we look at every year right before school starts to remember some of the fun from years past.

My daughter writes stories and uses the Avery color tabs, binders and dividers to sort her characters, story lines and different thoughts she comes up with. She uses these for creative writing projects as well as the essay she is planning on writing for her college entrance exam. I use them to separate coupons by product, expiration date and meals. Avery products are a big winner at our house.

  • Many of the Avery products, but definitely Note Tabs…can’t live without them. Will use them to mark pages in textbooks with notes, use them on the calendar for special occasions when more info is need to be written, flagging file folders with notes, just so many ways to use the Note Tabs.

  • beth

I use the sticky note-tabs for little messages to someone I live with – who sometimes exists in his own little world and would not otherwise remember things like his lunch, or that his thumb-drive was saved from the wash again.

The top sheet protectors usually end up being marked up with a wet-erase pen for illustration projects – I put a work in progress there, leave it to be edited, and then I can still use the original, and see EXACTLY where the notes are.

  • I love the top sheet protectors because I have my daughters create beautiful pages about the topic they are currently learning and the sheet protectors are a great way to make it seem more like an educational scrapbook than some boring homework pages that will be torn and thrown away.

  • I love Avery binders and dividers for back to school… they last long and help me stay organize.

  • For Back-to-School, I look for binders, dividers, binder pockets, note cards, and labels.

My son often lost homework assignments (both “to do” and “to turn in”) in the bottom of his backpack, so I used a binder with tabs for him to organize his notes by subject. We put one of the assorted Binder pockets at the front of each section as well so he could put any homework assignments there – and then find them to turn in! The secure top sheet protectors were used for overviews or quick reference sheets, such as formulas he would need, class schedules and locations, verb forms for foreign languages, etc.

  • We use the folders and dividers every year.

The Avery NoteTabs are excellent. They’re handy for organizing notebooks and adding marginalia to textbooks. But I think every college freshman needs Avery’s clean edge business cards to pass their contact information to their new crush in Chem 101.

  • Susan

I gave my son the clear notetabs because he likes to draw pictures on them and put them on the window when he’s riding in the car. This way the sun shines through them, and he says that the animals he draws looks like they’re running across the landscape as I drive around.

Everything would be super useful for back to school!

One thing I like to do is to use the NoteTabs to put tabs across the top of my dividers. I also use binder pockets/sheet protectors to store papers that I might need to refer to often. This way, when my binder is upright in my backpack, I can just look at the tabs on the top and then pull the paper out of the page protector. It reduces the need for me to take the binder out of my backpack to refer to the “real” tabs, saving time, wear on the binder, and a lot of fumbling!

I also put a Pocket Tab on each of my notebooks/textbooks, just inside the cover. Since I use a small pocket notebook to collect “to-dos” and write notes to myself, I toss the small sheets of paper into the right pocket tab. That way, when I get home, I can just pull the note and know immediately what pages I need to read for class the following day.

I MUST HAVE sticky notes in assorted colors and sizes!! I assign each course a color and this keeps everything so organized. Also, these work great as study aids. Write important facts on a sticky note and stick them where I will see them all the time. My bathroom mirror has a nice colorful assortment of notes :)

  • Yvonne

I’m constantly making up binders for the CEO of the company. We always get Avery divider tabs since they’re the BEST!!!

  • Kristin

I stick the notetabs on everything!! They’re great for little reminders of when special asignments are due.

  • My favorite Avery product is the 3 ring binders. I can get them in 1/2 inch up to 3 inch so they always hold everything I need. PLUS I can put my own designs on them with the clear slip they have on the outside. I love Avery!

I use Avery’s online templates. My mom calls my room a disaster, I call it a work in progress. With the avery templates, notetabs and binders, I go from a work in progress to an organized hero.

When thinking about Back-To-School for myself and my daughter, I consider all of the Avery products. They are dependable and very stylish for any student. I enjoy using the various selection of Avery binders. I have one for each class and use Avery tab dividers to separate into organized sections. I also utilize Avery page protectors for important course syllabuses and frequently accessed information.

Not only do I use these products for school, I use them for organizing important papers at home. I use Avery binders, dividers, and sheet protectors for organizing my monthly expenses. I also use Avery tabs for identifying recurring payments and any important information from my daughter’s school.

I enjoy using Avery products because they are great for any student and even useful for parents.

With my college class schedule all over the place this semester, my best friends have become the avery sticky notes and flags. I have a corkboard on my wall, and with the avery sticky notes I can plan out my entire week and interchange activities or project due dates by simply pulling one avery sticky note off and replacing it with another. And the avery flags are a godsend as I can always find the chapter or section, or word I need just by opening my colorfully flagged textbook.

My favourite Avery product is the clear notetabs. They really keep me in order with my notes, and I can track where I left off. I find these notetabs very helpful since they are clear and you can see the notes. It would SERIOUSLY mean alot to me to win this set, and it would set me off for taking my university courses.

I use Avery labels to label my daughter’s boxes with her dorm name, room number and her name. When we drop her off at college and there are friends willing to help carry boxes, they always find their way to her room. I like to think it’s because we planned ahead with the labels :)

I love the Avery NoteTabs and PocketTabs. They’re great for writing notes in books and on files where you don’t want to damage the pages (school, work, college) plus want to highlight something without marking up the paper with bright yellow. They can be reused later on and they’re clear. Perfect for recipe books!

  • Teresa

My daughter is just starting high school and being a 9th grader is hard enough without trying to find out where you put your homework! We will definitely have to get organized and tab and divide those subjects. Also, everyone loves those great viewable binders. You get to personalize your binder with a picture of your favorite star or your own artwork!

  • I collect backpacks and supplies for needy kids in our community- so I’d donate the backpack to someone in need! :)

  • All the items will come in handy for college courses.

I would use the pocket tabs to place inside my programming
instruction booklets to hold install disks and receipts.

I would use the view binder to hold class notes and instructions.

  • Melisa Graber

Im starting out new in some college courses, so I would use the write on tabs to keep notes wherever necessary and i’d use the write on tabs to keep all my papers organized.

  • Marsha Webb

I would use the write-on tabs to divide work for diffent classes in a large binder. I would use the colored notetabs as a highlighter in my textbooks and as page markers.

  • I would use the binders and dividers to color code each subject, and make sure to use the same color of ink for each! Totally color-coordinated is fun!
