My mother is the best, she has supported me through my teenage years when I was rebellious. She has helped me become a better mother to my own kids, by always being there when I needed her. She is always willing to listen when I need her. She will give me a shoulder to cry, and even though I am 27, I can still crawl into her lap when I need her to my mommy again. I love my mother and I will never be able to tell her, how much she really means to me. I love you Mom!

My mama died many years ago but she lives in the hearts of all the folks she reached out to! She was a strong advocate of equality when it wasn’t popular. She actively advocated for the homeless, saw all races and ethnic groups as equals and volunteered in the migrant camps teaching English! All forms of discrimination was a red flag to her! She would research the issue and then wade in with determination. She was the mom of a large neighborhood of kids. She opened our home to taffy pulls, making donuts for Halloween, and many other caring functions for kids. She was always there for folks. All of us could take friends in trouble to her for her caring and wise council! She fed those in need, would offer a bed to folks stranded due to bad weather.
After my dad died she opened her home to third world students attending OTI who were in need. She made friends all over the world supporting children and refuges in need.
She lives in the hearts of many, I miss her very much! Gwyneth BowmN

My mom is the best because she taught me to go for my dreams! She told me I could do anything I wanted to! And now, I love my job teaching kindergarten <3
