I am a sponsor for our High School PTSA and our campus Anime Club. Our Anime club could really could really save some money with not having to buy art supplies. With what we would save we could spend that money on some new software that we have been wanting but have no budget for. Our PTSA would benefit too. We are always making large banner signs for events on campus. Those paints would really come in handy! I am glad that I found you guys. Your prices are great for teachers!

  135. Barbara says:

I would love to win this prize to donate to my classroom lovely students since our district is limited on funds for supplies I can order ad we are a Title I district where the number of students attending is outweighing the amount to attend school even in their homeschool locations. I don’t understand how we can keep overcrowding schools and teachers and expect many unfortunate parents to gather school supplies. Prices are going up while many paychecks are not and this would so help me to not ask for these supplies in my classroom as a way of helping those in need and connecting with my students family and community needs with some small relief. Most of my own money goes to help the students and families who cannot afford the supplies asked for. Thanks for your help and time in doing something so wonderful for growing minds.

  136. Jennifer says:

  155. Dayna Dyrhaug says:

I teach elementary art at a school consisting of economically disadvantaged children. For some reason the district does not give art a budget and if I need supplies, the school must pay for it if there is any money left. It would be nice to have some quality supplies available to my students to create with. BTW, I’m obsessively picky about my pencils I draw with and I love, love, love your pencils!!!

Many of my students have NO art supplies at home…no crayons, scissors, glue, construction paper, paint. Their only time to be creative is in my class. These goodies would truly be a blessing for my students!

  161. Kimette Witt says:

10th – 12th grade classrooms aren’t ever given any art or craft supplies:(

  162. Debbie Willbanks says:

I teach 6th grade art and recycled art classes and 3 after school art classes for grades 2-6. I have to be very creative with supplies on hand, frugal when ordering, and have
personally bought and donated supplies so kids can experience different art mediums and techniques.

  169. Elizabeth Carpenter says:

I teach 20+ 4th graders in all subjects and 60-70 4th graders in Science. These supplies would do us a world of good since we will not be receiving these items this year due to budget cuts so I will have to purchase them myself. Thanks for the giveaway. I’ve done all of the steps above

I’m a special needs preschool teacher. My classes are delightful children who need a little extra help getting up to speed in a very diverse city. This would be a wonderful addition to our classroom to enhance our social/emotional, creativity, and fine motor skills to get everyone ready to learn and ready for Kindergarten!

  196. Robin Ballew says:

I’m a special ed teacher, so have multiple grade levels every year. This year I have 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. I buy most of my own supplies since the kids just bring things for homeroom. This package would be a wonderful addition for creativity in my classroom!

  197. Susie H. says:

I teach 5th grade, all subjects.

  198. Linda B. says:

This treasure chest would be put to good use by my fifth graders! Students are to come to school with at least a pencil, but sometimes that is asking too much. I try to keep my students supplied, but I can only do so much. This would be such a wonderful gift!!

  199. Marti says:

I teach 8th grade reading and a student council leadership class.

  205. Lani Rodriguez says:

I am a leader for an American Heritage Girls troop. We are a new troop so we definitely need art supplies!! One of our goals this year is to make crafts and cards for children in hospitals, homeless shelters, and children’s homes at EVERY meeting–having this art box would be a huge blessing!!

  206. Ann Tocco says:

I’m a second grade teacher and my students would love to be able to be creative using these wonderful supplies!

  207. Amelia says:

Winning this prize would be a tremendous blessing to my district, school, classroom, and especially, my students. I teach about 170 high school juniors at a Title I district and supplies are extremely difficult for students to obtain. In a community where some of our youth are worried about having a simple pencil and paper for the day, anxious to get back to school because summers at home are harder than their worst days at school, and money is a precious commodity for necessities instead of something to just spend — I know that my students would appreciate having even one less to-buy item for school. I have always sought my best to buy supplies for my students’ use in my class, but even only I can do so much with the little I am given. I know I can’t take my kiddos’ problems away with this prize pack, but something like this would help them, and me, tremendously. I am only in my 2nd year of teaching, but I have seen full on what a gesture something like this would be for my kids who already struggle so much.

Thank you for this awesome opportunity and for the support this will be to the person/persons this will be awarded to. It’s so nice to have the support and resource of companies and organizations like Shoplet!

  208. Lisa says:

My students are so needy and can’t afford art supplies. Those school supplies they do bring usually run out by December and I supplement for them. Art is so important and I try to integrate it into all aspects of my curriculum. These supplies would really benefit my needy students and help us continue to do art projects in the classroom. Even 6th graders need to still do art!!

I would love to win this treasure box of supplies for my 5th grade classroom. Where I teach my students come from low income homes and at times I have to supply materials for my students. The treasure box will help my students all have the necessary materials to create complete art work with their assignments.

  480. Marianne Cates says:

I have always loved Dixon products!! Have been teaching for many years but took a 6 yr. side trip to the principal’s office. Going back to my first love this year in third grade. The school I am joining is an arts school in a low income area. Can’t wait to get the year started and would LOVE to have a treasure box to share with my third graders!!!!

  481. Dawn Taylor says:

I teach early childhood special education. Due to budget constraints, I receive very little by way of supplies or funding for my classroom from my district. Having art supplies would help stretch my wallet by not needing to purchase them myself. Thank you for offering this chance to win!

  482. Alecia says:

I have 5 children so this would come in handy! However, I would love to give it to our local Boys and Girls Club in Wake Forest, NC so everyone could enjoy!

  483. Janet Irwin says:

I work with middle school children grades six, seven, and eight. I work with those who don’t always seem to get the message in the regular classroom nor at home. I get paid to nag them and get work done they didn’t know how to do it, didn’t want to do it, or thought they would not have to do it. I wander their portals and seek the missing. I am a certified teacher in NYS but I don’t get paid a teacher’s salary in my present position. I am the only one who does what I do in a three middle school complex.

We go through lots of supplies and I beg and snag them any way I can on behalf of these kids. I tell them they are not allowed to fade into the background or worse yet fall through the cracks. We would certainly put this package to very good use.
