I support Wounded Warrior. In fact, I just made a donation last week in memory of an ex-military friend who passed on. Thanks to ACCO for supporting this cause.

  2. I am very excited about the opportunity to win a Wounded Warrior Calendar since a cause that I whole heartedly believe in is the Semper Fi Fund; please see: http://semperfifund.org/. The people at Semper Fi Fund say, “The drive and determination of these veterans provides inspiration to countless others. We can help.” Donors come together to support the Semper Fi Fund in their mission to serve those who serve us all. They find resources who match donors’ funds to enable them to assist a great number of veterans who have financial pressures with aid in their recovery. Some examples of Semper Fi’s contributions to veterans are: they assist by providing specialized equipment that isn’t included in their medical insurance, and they provide programs that assist veterans both physically and mentally. I am very impressed with Seper Fi Fund, as are others who are in the industry like Charity Watch; please see: http://www.charitywatch.org/toprated.html. You will see that they give Semper Fi an A+ rating; please see: http://www.charitywatch.org/toprated.html#veterans!

A cause that matters to me the most is one involving children. How can we fix society if the children are not being helped. I feel that children are a big part of the community and one of the biggest contributors to the future, thus they should be helped as much as possible.

There are so many causes I care about. I volunteer at our local community outreach organization for those in need. Being a special needs teacher any organization that supports children with special needs holds a place in my hard. I am passionate about Alzheimer’s and Cancer causes in support of my parents battles.

I think Wounded Warrior is an excellent organization.
Another one that I whole-heartedly support is Operation Christmas Child who sends gifts to children all over the world. Many of these children have never received a gift in their lives. Some are homeless. All of them need a little love. If you have never heard of this program I highly recommend that you check it out.
