Office Weekly Round-Up: Office Recreation
Virtually anyone who works in an office knows about the hit NBC sitcom, The Office. There are crazy antics and hilarity in nearly every episode, such including throwing around a football and crazy themed office parties. This got us thinking about the many ways people interact with their coworkers. For this week’s round up, we gathered some of the more peculiar recreational activities people participate in. Amp up the office recreation at work with these ideas!
You remember this from your days in 6th grade, and now you can go to war with the sales department. Just make sure to pick up all those stray darts.
There are so many ball games you can play in the office, with catch being the most popular. Or what about a game of monkey in the middle? That should get Kevin in sales really steamed up!
Want to step up your game? This Nerf ball is great for a quick game of football. Tackling is optional (and not recommended).
Get a few of those empty soda cans and line them up for some practice. Compete with fellow coworkers to see who’s the better marksman with the projectile your choice. Glory awaits!
Liven up that lunch hour with a quick game of Jenga at your desk. Just make sure none of the pieces get in your soup.
This nifty device shoots darts by hooking up to a computer via USB; you can then write coordinates using a software program. Like a Nerf gun, but nerdier.
Play a high stakes game of poker with different office supplies as chips. See someone’s stapler and raise them a keyboard. No reward without risk, right?
We’ve all seen this in a movie or an episode from a show somewhere. Indoor golf might result in a few broken windows and coffee mugs, but it’ll all be worth it when you’re celebrated like Tiger Woods.
No matter where your office is, you can always find new ways to put a big smile on your face and an angry face on your coworkers.
