Binder Clips into Office Weapons by gracej

Wow, if you thought working at your white-collared job, sitting in your well equipped air-conditioned office, thinking that this is probably one of the safest place to be… you may just want to think twice about that. The office is a jungle. Beside having to watch your back against office colleagues who may be wolf in sheep’s clothes, you may just have to watch out for those seemingly utilitarian office supplies, because in conjuncture with other seemingly innocent office supplies, they may just result to be one of the deadliest office weapon yet. Below is an example of our favorite office supplies- binder clips, turned into office weapons.

Binder Clips into Office Weapons

Take a few binder clips of varying sizes, turn them upside down, and clip the smaller binder clips inside the larger clips.

It should look like this when the larger binder clips have clipped the smaller ones.

Remove all the binder clip handles.

Add another 2 larger binder clips on top of the smaller edge with a rubber band in between.

Take out the binder clips handle again.

Reverse wrap the larger rubber band.

If you want, you could add a laser pointer on top of this office weapon to help you aim.

You could elongated object of your choice, in this case, pens and pencils works perfectly,

    Having a laser pointer on top, kinda breaks the surprise….

    but I do remember one scene the guy saying to the bad guy:

    “Where the red point is… there’ll be a small hole” :)

    I wonder who can come up with an idea to McGuyer these into a booby-trap like Indiana Jones… like if someone comes and moves my office chair while I’m in the bathroom they get shot in the ankle

    Personally, I think everyone should have one at their respective stations. That way, when the office psycho blows a gasket and brings an AK-47 to work, he’ll be bombarded with a hundred-fifty pens and pencils. He may take one or two people down, but not necessarily out, and he won’t be able to aim or shoot himself once he’s blinded and brain damaged by a couple’a Bics, Biros, or American Standards to the temple region.

    OMG I so need this, especially for the nosy peeps who worry more about what others are doing then what they should be doing themselves. actually I would like to be able to launch this in rapid succession and get all of them at once.

    I built one of these and in the process spilled an entire can of coke all over my desk/keyboard. It was horrible. I also didnt have the right size binder clips.

    I just built one! its heaps fun! ive been shooting at other people at the office, now they want one too. it also really really hurts apparently

    In 6th grade we made desk traps that would shoot pencils at people who tried to steal our lunch tickets…

    2 rubber bands, 2 paper clips, and a pencil… If you open the desk more than half an inch without disarming it first, it’ll shoot you right in the chest.

    This is for the employee or student who thinks they can come to work or class and go postal on everyone. If all of the other students or employees have one, two, or three in their desk then the postal mother-&^%$#@ has a shyt-load of freshly sharpened pencils flying at his/her postal @ss!!!

    The tip of the pencil that penetrated the can was made with special military carbonium-steel fiber, not ordinary graphite. Am I right? ;-)

    Oh my god, now production in the office will drop, all the cubicles will be staging areas of combat, getting to the next cubicle to “visit” will need to be re-thought.
