Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Office Supplies With a Cause.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and people everywhere are sporting pink, registering for walks and donating to the cause. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed and second leading cause of cancer death among women. Each year it is estimated that over 252,710 women in the United States will be diagnosed with this cancer. More than 40,500 will die. These statistics are mind boggling. Everyone knows someone who has been effected by cancer.
We encourage you to use your buying power to do some good this month. Aside from taking part in traditional walks and events, you can also help in small ways by buying products that donate to research organizations. A great place to start is with your office supplies. Did you know that some of your go to brands offer BCA versions also? These brands donate a portion of the proceeds to a trusted organization.
