Bring Cursive Back! by Grace
3 years ago my cursive was non-existent. Even 10 years ago (jr. high) non existent. My teachers in elementary school stressed over and over again how important it was to have good cursive because throughout the rest of your schooling we would be required to write only in cursive. Someone must have just thought that statement up in their head.
I didn’t use cursive in Jr. High or High School and not really college either, not until the very end. One summer I did an internship in Kenya and I had a lot of extra time on my hands at night so I thought, why not practice my cursive? I figured that the guys I liked were sick of handwritten notes with my juvenile handwriting and it was time to develop a good solid cursive. My point is – cursive looks nice. It feels nice when you can write well and I think notes are better received in that format.
I was looking for something on our website a few days ago and I stumbled across these items, remember these?
