Taking “Bling” to Another Level


One word: ridiculous. With over 840 diamonds and 20 carats in gemstones, this writing instrument is the ultimate in excess, clocking in as “the world’s most expensive pen” (and probably warranting its own insurance policy). The price of a New York chunk of real estate, this would definitely not be the pen you’d casually drop in your pocketbook. In fact, this pen scares me a little bit.

I HEART THE 80’s
One of my personal faves, I love how they advertise: “Great For Boring Seminars” – classic. For anyone who rocked a Rubik’s Cube and all of its knock-off puzzle cousins (remember the Pyraminx?), this pen is genius…I think I want one.

    I love these pens! They are so cool! I want the fuzzy birdie ones and the puzzle one and the dragonfly on the leaf one and the secret writing one. Very cool.

    I really want to know who owns a Mont Blanc pen! That’s just crazy! And if you used the ones that look like birds, won’t the sweat from your hands make all the feathers icky? They should make pens with sensors so you can clap or whistle when you need it, because I know we have about ten gazillion pens in the house but I can never find one when I need it! I write a lot of crayola messages…

    What grad wouldn’t want a “foofy-looking” Graduate Feather Bird Pen? I think FOOFY says it all…..

    I bet I can find the Mont Blanc pen in the flea market in Shanghai, China for $7.30; I found regular non-jeweled ones for $0.75 each…

    The sushi pens are the best! Wasabi ink, LOL!

    That pen for boring seminars is really cute! Someone must have been fed up to create one ;P
    The invisible pen is a nice present for teens. Perhaps cell-phones or some e-gadgets are more appealing to youngsters, but the idea is right.
