Office Pranks for April Fool’s Day
April Fools Day is on the way and we all have that one coworker who has an arsenal of pranks up his sleeve. Don’t be left empty handed in the dish-out department this year. Shoplet has scoured the internet for some of the best office pranks that wont land you a pink slip in the process. Now you can be ready when your coworkers try some funny business!
Let it grow!
If you are going to try this one, it’s best to get started early. Open up your coworker’s keyboard and sprinkle some dampened seeds inside. Within a few days the seeds will sprout, leaving your coworker amazed and confused.
April Boo’s Day!
This office prank is definitely not for the faint of heart. If your office has tile ceilings, this will be a great way to spook your coworkers. Print out a ghoulish face, push back a tile and stick it in the ceiling. This works especially great in a dimly lit area. We guarantee you will get a few yelps out of this one!
Something Wicked This Way Comes…
Here’s another one that is sure to cause a little anxiety around the office. Strategically plant an upside down cup on someone’s desk or in the break room. Dig out a little hole and add an ominous note like this one. Now sit back and watch as your arachnophobic coworkers begin to freak out at the prospect of encountering your fictitious 8-legged friend. To score extra April Fool’s points, plant a fake spider on a nearby coworker’s chair. Tee hee!
Wanna totally confuse your male coworkers? Why not create a little bathroom chaos? Here’s a great and simple way to prank the guys in your office (and maybe even some of the girls too!). Cut a triangle out of black material or paper and paste it onto the restroom icon. The guys will wonder what happened to their beloved restroom and a few unsuspecting girls might just wander in!
These days computer mice are laser operated, so this prank will be super easy to pull off. Use a Post- It Note or a piece of paper to cover up the laser. When your coworker tries to use his or her mouse, you can sit back and watch the frustration come over them. Eventually they will turn it over to investigate the problem, so make sure you decorate your Post- It note with a April Fool’s Day greeting. So the next time you hear the magic words, “What happened to my mouse?” You can have a good chuckle.
