Pledge to Save your Shoes

pledge cleans leather Pledge to Save your Shoes

I learned this little trick today from Capitol Hill Style that I thought I should share. She says,

To use, just spray a bit of Pledge on a clean, dry rag and gently rub the boots in a circular motion. It’s that simple.

That is pretty simple. I’ve never thought of doing that! Looking at the description for Pledge, it says it’s good for wood furniture, cabinets, paneling, vinyl and leather. So those shoes that have a little wood wedge or sole, you can clean those too!

Crazy Coupon Mommy also suggests -

So many people, including me, buy Stainless Steel appliances because of how great they look….clean that is. But ask that same person about a week after owning them if they love they way they look and you’ll get the evil eye! Keeping stainless steel appliances and surfaces fingerprint and spot free is a full time job in and of itself. Especially if you have kids – forget about it!!!

Well go ahead – try it out. Spray some Pledge onto a dry microfiber cloth and wipe down your stainless steel (try your faucets too!!). It’s amazing. They look absolutely great and when/if you get water spots or fingerprints, but wipe with a dry cloth and presto!

It’s also great on synthetic wood (like the pressed wood stuff from IKEA and Target) as well as vinyl and the interior surfaces of your car. (No more expensive Armor-All!!) Hey any cleaner that has multiple uses and saves space under my sink gets an A in my book!
