Planning for hotels, travel, equipment rentals, meal reservations and any corporate event space needed within the venue can be a lot to juggle. Enlisting the help of a planner can take a lot of pressure off of your shoulders.
You also want think about what your goals for the ski trip will be. Are you celebrating a company milestone? Perhaps a merger? Maybe you’re just trying to change up your usual team building event. Whatever the reason for your trip, make sure to include a formal orientation. Orientations help brief your staff on the events to come for the day or following days. This also helps new employees get to know each other and allows your staff a chance to mingle. You agenda can look something like this.
10am-1pm: Skiing and lessons
2-4pm: Night skiing
6pm: Dinner/ presentation
Having an agenda that is both fun and productive will keep your employees positive and invigorated. Special guest speakers and awards nights can also be good ideas to motivate and inspire your group.
