Shoplet’s CEO Tony Ellison Inspires Us on “Doubt the Doubts” Podcast!

I remember when I first came to Shoplet, I was surprised and heartened to learn about the company’s humble beginnings.

Founded in 1994, is one of the original pioneers of the e-commerce frontier. By offering outstanding services- from its customer support team to its exceptional e-procurement tools- continues to grow and remain a top competitor to behemoth office supply retailers. After achieving due success and security in the marketplace, Tony Ellison, Shoplet’s founder and CEO, decided to take serious responsibility for the hand the office supply  industry has in today’s environmental destruction. By implementing’s Shop Green section, Ellison does not merely hope that businesses can heighten their eco-awareness, but believes that they will.

This morning, Tony Ellison’s was the featured guest on Paul Blais’s top-rated podcast show on iTunes, “Doubt the Doubts.” One of my favorite snippets from the interview is from when Ellison describes his perception of failure: “Failure is not necessarily bad, so long as you innovate when you start up.”

It’s definitely worth listening to Ellison’s interview! I hope you enjoy what Shoplet’s CEO has to say as much as I did :)
